Registration

This registration site is for non-local participants only (local particpants are defined as those who reside in mainland China). The registration site for local participant is currently under construction.

For IMS-members, the registration fee is $300, a reduced fee of $200 for full time students, and $150 for accompnying persions.

For non-IMS members, the registration fee is $350. If you wish to join the IMS, follow the link for conference registration below or visit www.imstat.org.

The registration includes lecture, one-day excursion, food, banquet, and shuttle pick up on July 2 from Weihai airport and Yantai airport. The registration is refundable before 11:00 PM June 1, 2009 (EST), but not after that.

The deadline for online registration is April 15. Onsite registration will be available on the conference site, July 3, 2009, but there is a $50 extra charge.

Due to a limit on room capacity, we have to have a stringent cap of 16 contributed talks by nonlocal speakers. If you are interested in giving a contributed talk, please note that we have a first come first serve policy, measured by the time of completing both the registration and the abstract submission.

Notes to non-citizens of People's Republic of China

You may be required to obtain entry visa to China. If so, please apply for entry visa at your nearest Chinese embassy or consulate well in advance.

The Chinese embassy does not normally require any letter of invitation for tourist visa. However, if you apply for other types of visa, including business visa, please contact the Organizing Committee at least 2 months in advance for a letter of invitation to visit Academy of Mathematics and System Science, CAS.

Upon arrival, you may be asked to produce a valid passport and visa when you check in at your hotel. The conference endorses no activities that are politically motivated or prohibited by the local authorities.
