## American football

- [`nflscrapR`-data repository](https://github.com/ryurko/nflscrapR-data) by Ron Yurko - repository of NFL play-by-play data from 2009 to 2019. This was constructed using the [`nflscrapR`](https://github.com/maksimhorowitz/nflscrapR) package which unfortunately is no longer able to scrape data due to changes made by the NFL. The data include advanced statistics generated by the `nflscrapR` [expected points (EP) and win probability (WP) models](https://arxiv.org/abs/1802.00998).
- [`nflfastR`-data repository](https://github.com/guga31bb/nflfastR-data) by Sebastian Carl and Ben Baldwin - repository of NFL data going back to 2000! This was constructed using the [`nflfastR`](https://mrcaseb.github.io/nflfastR/) package and was heavily inspired by `nflscrapR`, including the use of the `nflscrapR` models for calculating EP and WP.
- [`cfbscrapR`](https://github.com/meysubb/cfbscrapR) by Meyappan Subbaiah et al. - this `R` package accesses college football play-by-play data based on a wrapper around [https://collegefootballdata.com/](https://collegefootballdata.com/), and includes EP and WP estimates.
