At the submission of this project milestone, you should be beyond the halfway point, towardsthe end goal of your project. Your write up should include:

• A high-quality introduction, motivating the problem you are choosing to study.
• A precise mathematical description of the problem you are studying.
• A precise description of what you have learned so far about the problem; and what remains to be done.

The report should be limited to 5 pages, excluding references, and should be in NIPS 2016 style.

Email one copy per project to your TA mentor.
