Q: Are you saying, however, that feature is not
reasonable?
A: It's an interesting point, but in this case I want to go back to
thinking about what my data set looks like, and
there's going to be very high correlation between the
feature effects and the price discounts. For my data set, then, it
doesn't make a lot of sense to include this interaction term,
because essentially these feature effects are saying
that you know what is the incremental effect on promoting the
brand. And that's very highly correlated to asking what's
the price elasticity, or what's the effect of the price decrease on that brand.
