This folder contain the web blogs network data
by Adamic and Glance (2005), The political 
blogosphere and the 2004 US election. In 
Proceeding of the WWW-2005 Workshop on the 
Weblogging Ecosystem. 

Data file 1.  polblogs.gml. This is the original 
data sets, consisting of 1494 nodes (web blogs). 
Two nodes have an edge if one of them is linked
to the other by a hyperlink. 

The network contains a giant component, which has
1222 nodes and 16714 edges (we treat the edge as
undirected for simplicity). 

The network has two perceivable communities, 
liberal and conservative. 

Date file 2.  polblogsgiant.txt. This is the adjacency 
matrix of 1222 by 1222 (associated with the giant 
component). 

Data file 3. polblogsgianty.txt. This is 1222 by 1 
vector of communty labels, with 1 being liberal and
2 being conservative. 
 
The folder (to be happened soon) also contains a matlab 
code for SCORE, based my recent paper "Fast spectral 
clustering by SCORE).
