This folder contains two data set based 
on the Genom-Wide Association (GAW) study 
on Parkingson Disease (PD) by Maraganore 
et al. (2005). Am. J. Hum. Genet. 77 685-693. 
The data was analyzed in our recent paper: 

Cai, T.  and Jin, J. (2008). Optimal Rates 
of Convergence for Estimating the Null and 
the Proportion of  non-Null Effects in 
Large-Scale Multiple Testing. 

(1). maraganore_etal_tier1_orig_data.txt contains
the raw data matrix by Maraganore et al. (2005). 

(2). maraganore_etal_tier1_allefreq_OR_p.txt contains
four columns of the raw data matrix which correspond
to  Case Allelic Frequency, Control Allelic frequency,   
Odds Ratio, and the two-sided p-values. The analysis 
of our paper starts with the p-values.
