Feedback - Team B The draft of the project report is very strong and generally adheres to the guidelines laid out for the report. Some comments: - Good introduction, bringing in outside information to illuminate the research motivation. This is an exceedingly minor point, but I'd be a little hesitant to cite an article from a student-run university daily, especially when the information is not specific to that university and can probably be obtained from a more classically reputable source if you dig a bit. - Good observation that if you had used Facebook as your sole means of contacting students, you might be covering a population with materially different behavior with regard to the research question. I think using Facebook as a secondary means or to recontact should be fine. - So far, as there were no skipped questions among your 31 responses, you've been able to avoid settling the issue of what constitutes a nonresponse. It's a little optimistic to presume that this will hold for all 362 responses you (hope to) get, so you'll probably have to settle on some threshold number of unanswered questions. Be sure to be clear about this in your final writeup. - I'd be curious to see how the responses to the copyright ethics questions vary according to school affiliation or stated political affiliation, e.g. if Tepper students have a markedly different take on intellectual property ethics than, say, H&SS students. - At times, the tone of the writing is a bit informal ("lost big in court like Napster") or lacking in the objectivity/detachment that scientific writing should embody.
