Please find attached my feedback on your revised/extended project
proposals.  I have told some groups pretty specifically which project
I prefer they do, and I've told other groups they have free choice.  

Both of your project proposals are promising, but you need to think
more carefully about sampling frame, target population, and mode of
data collection for both. 

For the magazine survey, you haven't specified a sampling frame that
is equivalent to an actual list that you could randomly sample
articles from.  In addition your description of the target population
does not make it clear whether magazines or articles are the units in
the survey.

For the on-campus political survey, it is extremely important that you
conduct and follow up on a random sample, not a convenience/volunteer
sample (from facebook or elsewhere).

The on-campus political survey is more nearly ready to go, but the
magazine survey is potentially much more interesting if you can work
out a sample frame and target population for it that I would accept.
The choice is yours.

For assignment I.3 I want you to post to blackboard a SINGLE document
(ms word or pdf), that contains complete answers to items A-G for the
ONE TOPIC you will choose for your 303 project, revised in any way you
think is necessary based on my comments and your discussions in your
group.  One pdf or doc file per group, please.

This will be due by Thursday Feb 16, Midnight, on Blackboard.

Please also get started on your team working agreements 

Remember that HW03 is  due Tues Feb 14 (on Blackboard).
