  there should be many holes.

  - For each hole, write a paragraph detailing what you plan to do to
    fill the hole (put the paragraph in bold or italic, or box it or
    something so I know it is "plans" and not part of the actual paper
    text).

  - I will be grading you on your *plans* in sections 3, 4 and the
    appendices, not what you've *done* in these sections.  So don't
    worry if you haven't done many analyses yet.  Just give me a
    well-thought-out set of plans for what you will do in the coming
    weeks.
