I have calculated mid-semester grades and submitted them to the hub.  

* I did not count the diagnostic quiz at all in your grade.

* The weights I used were:

Exam 2             =  0%               15%
Partic             = 18%               10%
Projects I.1-I.4   =  9%                5%
Projects II.5-II.6 =  9%                5%
Projects part III  =  0%               30%

Everyone got 100/100 for participation (incl citizenship in your
groups, participation in class, etc.).  I will probably assign some
scores less than 100 in the 2nd half of the semester.

Your HW average, exam score, partic, and team project averages, were
weighted using the MIDSEM %'s above, to produce a midsemester score,
between 0 and 100 points.

Undergraduates were given letter grades as follows:

midsem score   letter grade   how many given
90-100         A              18
80-89          B              13
70-79          C              1
55-69          D              2
0-54           R              1

Graduate students were graded separately and should talk to me if they
have questions about their grades.

Not all of the scores for team project assignments are up on
blackboard yet; Jionglin or I will let you know as soon as all the
scores are posted.  In the meantime, if you have any questions about
your grade, please contact me.

I will send each team a limited amount of individual feedback on team
project assignments II.5b and II.6 in the next few days.
