OVERALL:

(a) I still like both surveys.  I think there is probably more work to
do, to ensure that the bus schedule survey produces representative and
useful data.  Please let me know which one you choose to do.

(b) What about John  Sperger?  I don't see any evidence that he
contributed to this.

      OK description of sampling frame.   I think you would need to
      include more bus stops, or convince me that more are not needed,
      for this project.

      your discussion of "sampling error" is really closer to a
      discussion of "coverage error". 

      I think you should broaden your target population (and sampling)
      to include all buses that CMU undergrads would typically use.
      This should include not only the forbes/morewood stops, but also
      the 5th avenue stops, and also other stops near campus thgat CMU
      students use.
