Air Transportation

Pittsburgh International Airport is a USAirways hub, and is also served by Delta, NorthWest, Continental, United, TWA and American.

We obtained a Gold File number (49140894) with USAirways for discounted travel to/from Case Studies in Bayesian Statistics. The discount is 5% on a Super-Saver ticket and 10% on a full-fare ticket. REMEMBER, staying over a Saturday night will greatly reduce the fare in most instances. You may make your own travel arrangements, but please be certain to refer to the Gold File number (49140894) to receive the discount.

We strongly suggest that you call our travel agent, World Wise Travel (412-531-5555) to assist you in making your travel plans. Please refer to "Case Studies in Bayesian Statistics" and use the Gold Card number when talking with World Wise. World Wise Travel will have a complete list of participants as well as their support dollar amounts. Using the support amount as a maximum, they will be able to charge your tickets directly to our account. When/if you request reimbursement for other expenses connected with the Case Studies, the cost of the ticket will then appear on your expense reimbursement form as money "Paid Directly by University."
