This directory contains some example project writeups and project
proposals from previous classes.

The "ps" subdirectory contains postscript files of the writeups.  These
are less legible on screen but should print well.

The "pdf" subdirectory contains adobe acrobat pdf files.  These are more
legible on screen, and should still print well, but they are substantially 
larger.

Here is a partial outline of Alley, Ch2, on organizing your documents.

Both sites have links to writing centers at universities around the country, 
many of which in turn have pages that describe how to put together different 
types of reports, examples of written reports, etc..   The type of report you 
are interested in for this class is the ``data analysis report'' or the ``lab 
report.''

Here are some suggestions for looking for data on the WWW, if you are having 
trouble finding something for the second project.  If anyone has other
