Who am I?
Where am I?
- During the 1999-2000 academic year I was on leave at the
Learning Research and Development Center
. Now I'm back at CMU Statistics
.
- Statistics

- About Pittsburgh PA:
- About PA:
- Some fine guitar stores:
- Some nice guitar sites:
- Strings:
- The folks at StringsByMail have a
great website and are very helpful online.
- For steel strings, D'Addario
EXPs (the 12's [bright, brassy bronze] and the 17's [mellower
phosphor bronze]) are great medium weight strings.
Sound good, last well.
- I started playing
Augustine nylon
strings.
- What's that? Banjo's, you say?
- Music tools:
- Gotta find time to explore this...
- Some Concert Organizers and Indices in Pittsburgh:
- Interesting local Pittsburghers....
- Some personal heros on the guitar:
- Michael Johnson is a
fantastic guitar/singer writer and arranger.
- I may never be able to play like Leo Kottke or Ralph Towner, but it would be
great to have a fraction of a percent of their innovation and taste.
- Of course there are more, but, I gotta go...
